When you purchase an Aoralscan 3 from iScandental,  manufacturer offers a standard 12-month warranty at point of scanner activation. In addition to this, you have the option to purchase an additional 2 years warranty for $2000 at time of purchase or $2200 at any point within the first year after the purchase. Maximum warranty is 3 years., with the following exceptions: The warranty will be voided in the case that the period between the original shipping date and the invoice date is over 12 months.

– To determine if a unit falls into this category there will need to be:

• No physical or liquid damage to the unit. (Other accessories such as
  damaged power sockets and tripods are not considered as warranty
  returnable items.)
• No modification or improper attempt to repair was made to the unit
  by any other individual not dully authorized by Manufacturer.
• No damage due to use of incorrect voltage supply source.
• No damage or violation of the warranty label affixed on the device.
• Unit is still within the initial period of 12 month of standard warranty.
